How do I turn Low Voltage Detection (LVD) on/off on a Traxxas controller?

LVD protects LiPo batteries from over-discharge. Use LVD on for LiPo and LVD off for NiMH.

Steps

1. Turn off.
2. Press and hold the power button until the LED flashes red/green (LVD selection menu).
3. Release the button: the LED shows the current status.
4. Press the button briefly to toggle between on and off.
5. Wait a few seconds: the setting is automatically saved.

LED indication

• Green = LVD on (for LiPo).
• Red = LVD off (for NiMH).

Tip: Are you using LiPo? Turn LVD on. Using NiMH? Turn LVD off.
