The RC cars of the popular brand Carisma fall into the category of electro cars, 1/10 brushed, 1/10 bruschless and 1/24 brushless. If the scale is 1 in 10 then an inch on the model represents 10 inches on the real cars. The terms brushed and brushless refer to the presence or absence of carbon brushes in the motor. This is an important fact when considering the speed of the models. Read more about this on the Electro RC Cars page.
So, depending on the available budget and the requirements of the model, you can choose motors with or without brushes. The crawlers are equipped by default with a brushed motor. With this kind of models, the speed is not so important, but the power all the more. Looking for a car that allows you to race at high speed? Then choose the brushless (brushless) racing models.
Two things. First, the attention to detail: the vehicles are designed for an authentic driving experience with realistic details, including painted bodies, accurate rims, and licensed decals. That’s why these models are also popular among collectors.
Second, the balance between price and performance. Carisma offers models with high-quality components and technology without falling into the top-tier segment, making the brand accessible to both beginners and experienced hobbyists.
We’re independent and carry multiple brands side by side. If you’re mainly looking for raw speed, there are brands that excel in that area; if you’re looking for realistic scale models in a compact size, Carisma has a clear edge.
GT24 (1/24). Micro rally cars and touring cars with brushless motors and four-wheel drive. Carisma has a strong focus on smaller scales like 1/24, and this series is the best example of that: you can drive them indoors on the floor and outdoors on a paved path. The GT24 is available as a rally car and a drift car, among other models.
GT24B (1/24). The buggy from the same family and one of the brand’s most popular models. Small, fast, and surprisingly versatile in terms of how you can tune it.
M40S and M48S (1/10). The larger race cars, designed for serious driving and tuning. These models offer room for adjustable suspension, different shock absorbers, and better tires.
SCA-1E (1/10). The crawler line. Scale-accurate off-road vehicles with many body options, also available as a build kit or rolling chassis kit. Feel free to compare them with the rest of our RC crawlers.
MSA-1E. The micro crawler: the same concept as the SCA-1E, but in a pocket-sized version, with a high-torque brushed motor.
These brushless race cars are ideal for speed. They’re low-slung, lightweight, and designed for grip on smooth surfaces—asphalt, concrete, or a smooth indoor floor.
Crawlers are specifically designed for rough terrain, offering plenty of traction at low speeds. They’re also stable and forgiving, making them ideal for beginners: you don’t have to react quickly to keep them under control.
Carisma RC cars are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. With a 1/24 scale model, you can set up a course in your living room; with an SCA-1E, you can head out into the woods.
Parts availability is well taken care of for this brand. For the GT24 series, more than 140 individual parts are in production; for the M40S and M48S, over 80; and for the SCA-1E, around 80. These include control arms, shock absorbers, differentials, wheel nuts, gears, and complete bodies. In addition, Carisma manufactures its own electronic speed controllers and accessories.
For maintenance, it’s best to use original parts: they fit without any modifications and maintain the intended geometry. Everything is sorted by model under “Parts and Accessories.”
A model that you maintain properly will last for years, and it only takes a few minutes each time:
If you can't figure it out on your own, our repair service will take a look at it.
A crawler from the SCA-1E or MSA-1E series, or a GT24 with a brushed motor. Both are easy to drive and forgiving.
Indoors on a smooth floor, in the yard, on an open field, or on an RC track. Not on public roads.
